Comments | Summit Housing & Outreach Programs (Summit) is an established charitable organization that provides supportive housing and outreach case management services throughout the region of Halton for people living with serious mental health and/or substance use concerns. Our programs and services are funded by Ontario Health and the Ministry of Health. The Board of Directors for Summit seeks interested and committed community members to join our Board of Directors. We are currently looking for individuals with expertise in law/legal services, finance, development/fundraising, community engagement, human resources, housing. |

Duties | Board members are expected to attend the regularly scheduled board meetings held on the last Tuesday of the month. Board meeting are approximately 2 hours in length and are scheduled each month except for December, July and August. Meetings will take place in person (2305 Wyecroft Road, Suite 200) or virtually via video teleconference. Additionally, Board committees meet quarterly and members are encouraged to participate on a committee that meets their interest and skill sets. There are also opportunities to participate in organizational and sector-wide events as your availability allows. |
