Description (Service) Services altered in response to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) * Nursing and Personal Support: Operating normally with added screening and infection prevention precautions. * Adult Day Programs: CLOSED until further notice. Please watch your email for details on how to join the virtual groups. ------------------------------------------------------- Provides a specialized exercise program to seniors in their own home * 12-week program * sessions are provided once a week by trained volunteers through a series of 12 simple and progressive exercises * designed to improve strength, balance, and mobility for less able seniors while preventing falls * clients are encouraged to complete the exercises a few times a week on their own

Eligibility criteria:
  • 65+ years of age, frail
  • able to follow instructions or have a caregiver willing to assist
  • lives in own home or a retirement home
  • unable to attend a free community exercise class
  • not currently receiving physiotherapy
